QUALITY LEAD
 
Location: Paris, France*
Contract duration: 12 months’ renewable
Schedule: Full-time (Monday – Friday)
 
*There will be a need for the job holder to travel on regular missions to the fabrication sites (Horten - Norway, Ingleside, TX and Panama City, FL).
 
On behalf of our customers, we are currently recruiting for a Quality Lead to be placed in Paris and would be on a 12 months’ contract with the possibility of extension.
 
Responsibilities  Assume ultimate responsibility towards CPI Manager for all Quality scope activities to support the execution phase. Ensure safe, on time and within budget delivery of all quality scope related elements within the CPI scope of work. Monitor and manage all facets of quality activities within the CPI scope of work to ensure that quality requirements are, as a minimum, met or improved upon. Lead the Quality Team organization and provide support to the CPY TPIs as needed. Ensure appropriate quality processes / ways of working are established and implemented appropriate to the work activities being undertaken. Bring to earliest attention of CPI Manager quality issues which present a significant threat to the Project and in addition offer mitigating measures / work plans. Represent the Quality Team at both internal and external meetings. Provide reporting function towards CPI Manager for quality related activities, including tracking of work progress. Review CPI documentation (plans, procedures, risk assessments, reports etc.) and prepare Company project documentation as required. Attend, contribute to and lead project meetings. Define, monitor and manage work tasks with external consultants and contractors as required. Undertake specific ad-hoc tasks to assist CPI Manager as and when required. Contribute to lessons learned processes. Lead / participate in quality assurance program audit activities. Provide effective leadership in Quality performance and compliance across CPI scope activities. Ensure that all CPI work activities are performed in compliance with a high regard to Quality Assurance and Control. Follow up non-conformance reports and ensure resulting corrective actions are implemented.
Skills / Qualifications  Minimum of 10 years’ experience in quality assurance and quality control within large scale Oil&Gas contracts. Minimum of 10 years relevant track record with quality assurance and quality control activities related to engineering and fabrication of SPS equipment, subsea umbilicals, controls and topside injection modules (MEG/MeOH/Chemical pumps, HPUs, Valve skids, etc.). Ability to get along well with others in an international / multi-cultural environment and take a pragmatic approach to problem solving situations. Ability to multi-task and work as part of small and flexible team. Desire to take responsibility for own area of work and to hold self-accountable to deliver in accordance with responsibilities. Ability to manage interfaces between multiple contractors. Ability to develop good working relationships with contractors and contractor personnel and progress collaborative problem solving. Fluency in the English language. Fluid communicator capable to represent the project in front of third parties and other stakeholders in a professional and organized manner. Tertiary qualification or equivalent is required with materials or metallurgy specialism preferred.
