Ecolab, the global leader in premium cleaning, sanitizing and maintenance products and services for the hospitality, institutional and industrial markets is seeking a Quality Lab Technician to join our Solids Laboratory team in Greensboro, North Carolina. As a Quality Lab Technician, you will work closely with production and perform a wide variety of tasks including, but not limited to: in-process product testing, raw material inspection, finished good inspection. This position will perform routine analytical and qualitative tests to ensure finished products and packaging meet Ecolab’s Quality Expectations. This position supports the development of product specifications and new test methods as needed. In this position you will perform maintenance and calibrations of the laboratory instruments.

What You Will Do:
Adhere to all Ecolab safety protocols, general policies and procedures.
Perform accurate and precise laboratory testing such as specific gravity, pH, HPLC, Colorimeter, dilutions, titrations, etc.
Prepare reagents and prepare samples for analytical testing.
Maintain the productivity and organization of a fast-paced production laboratory.
Record test results accurately and concisely in ERP Systems (SAP).
Identify and help resolve adverse process trends through real-time root cause analysis.
Perform daily and weekly calibrations and method assurance for lab instruments.
Follow Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and Good Laboratory Practices (GLP).
Actively participate with and maintain professional relationships with all Team Members.
Support Quality and others in customer and regulatory audits, nonconformance documentation, root cause analysis, 5S, TPM, etc.
Perform additional quality and manufacturing duties as assigned.

Work Week & Shift: Nights (6p-6:30a) / 3-2-2 Schedule
Compensation package offered: $25.50 / hour + Shift Differential ($1.50 / hour)
Minimum Qualifications:
2 year Technical Degree
Experience working in a lab environment
Experience in experimental design and analysis
Experience working with statistical software
Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite

Preferred Qualifications:
B.S./B.A. degree
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
A high attention to detail and quality in results.
Must be able to establish and meet deadlines to produce independent results.
Knowledge of GMP and GLP.
Ability to multi-task and manage numerous projects simultaneously.
Annual or Hourly Compensation Range:
The pay range for this position is $25.50 / hour. Many factors are taken into consideration when determining compensation, such as experience, education, training, geography, etc. We comply with all minimum wage and overtime laws.Benefits
