Ability to read & understand mechanical blue prints/engineering drawings
??? Must be able to consistently produce accurate and clear documentation
??? Understanding of Geometric & Dimensional Tolerancing ... ??? Create 1st Piece Inspection Files/Data Sheets (Word Process & Spreadsheets)
??? Participate as a team member on Area Improvement Teams
??? Perform internal audits
??? Conduct Gage R&R studies
??? Perform short and long term capability studies
??? Travel to customer or supplier site to address quality issues that may arise.
??? Assist operating personnel in collecting data, constructing control charts, and interpreting
control chart information.
??? Perform Training, as required

Working hours: 7:00 AM - 3:30 AM

Skills:
Working knowledge/skills using the following precision measurement:
Tools/Gauges Optical Comparators
Calipers Micrometers
Height gauges Air Gauges
Profilometers CMM (esp. CNC Controlled)
OGP Smart scope
- ASQ CQT
- Basic Microsoft experience (MS Word, Excel)
- Good communication skills.
- The individual may be required to sit or stand for up to twelve hours using their hands to
handle objects, tools, or controls; reach with hands and arms; talk and hear around machinery.
- The individual must be capable of lifting and moving up to 10 pounds; frequently lift and move
up to 30 pounds.
- Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision,
peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus on optical devices. Use of
microscopes, magnifiers, and optical comparators will be expected.
- Tolerance of a manufacturing environment. (e.g. Individuals will work near moving mechanical
parts of machinery and electrically activated devices. Individuals are occasionally exposed to
airborne particles.)
- Read and interpret Autocam manufacturing instructions.
- Basic knowledge of Statistical Process Control.
- Medical device manufacturing experience
- Perform math skills of addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.

Education:
High School

Experience:
4-7 years
