Job details We are seeking an experiences Quality Inspector for our manufacturing client out of Loves Park, Illinois!

Role Highlights:
- $20-$22/hr

What Youll Do:
- Perform dimensional and visual inspections on hydraulic valve spools using micrometers, calipers, air gages, comparators, Keyence, and other precision measuring equipment.
- Verify product compliance with engineering drawings, bubble prints, process sheets, and customer specifications.
- Document inspection results in accordance with company quality procedures and maintain accurate inspection records.
- Identify and report nonconformances, assist in root cause investigation, and support corrective action activities.
- Perform receiving inspection of outsourced processes as required.
- Help maintain calibration through awareness of inspection tools and notifying supervisors of out-of-tolerance conditions.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of inspection area per 5S standards.
- Communicate effectively with production, engineering, and quality teams to resolve inspection or process issues.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product quality and inspection efficiency.

What Youll Bring:
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- One (1) year of quality inspection or machining experience in a manufacturing environment is preferred.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and bubble prints.
- Proficiency in the use of precision measurement instruments (micrometers, calipers, comparators, gages).
- Basic understanding of statistical process control (SPC) and documentation methods.
- Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and mechanical aptitude.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods.
