Summary – Quality Receiving Inspectors are key team members that work to help us ensure our flight critical products meet the quality standards of our customers at various stages of the production process. Quality Receiving Inspectors verify the measurements of dimensional features, identify non-conforming material, and analyze test results for products that are used to go straight on to an airplane!
Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
1st Shift: 6:00am - 2:30pm (M - F)Passionately works in a safe manner by following all safety rules and providing recommendations to help make CHI a safe work environment.Achieves team production goals by working to meet all operational and quality standards to ensure a high level of customer satisfaction.Provides inspection activity in coordination with production, purchasing and shipping to maximize product reliability and minimize cost, throughout the production cycle.Tests and inspects products at various stages of the production process, from high volume in-coming receiving, in-process to final inspections.Issues non-conforming reports, maintains MRB database and enters and analyzes test and SPC Data.
Experience and Education:
1+ years of receiving inspection, geometric dimensioning and using standard micro-measuring equipment.Must possess a High School diploma or equivalent GED.Requirements:
Ability to safely lift up to 35lbs and have good hand dexterity.
