A well-known Aerospace company in the Renton, WA area is looking to add a Quality Inspector II to their team! A successful candidate in the role will be responsible for performing visual and dimensional inspections of supplier-produced products, materials, and tooling in all work centers. Additionally, you will document non-conformities on company rejection tags and inspection pick-up forms, provide information and assistance to production and supervisory personnel, and verify kits in final inspection before shipping. Skills and Requirements
• Advanced blueprint reading skills
• Able to use hand inspection tools (Calipers, 6” scales, height gage, etc.)
• Advanced math aptitude
• Able to support inspection functions in multiple work centers
• Knowledge of industry record keeping procedures and best practices
• Familiar with digital, electronic inspection media
• Analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify root cause, and suggest corrective and continuous improvement actions
• Interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively with a wide range of people in a diverse workforce • 1-3 years of quality inspection experience in an aerospace manufacturing environment strongly preferred
• Lean Manufacturing experience
• Knowledgeable in autoclaves and/or ovens
