Quality Inspector responsible for inspection of electro-mechanical assemblies, bare PCBs, and mechanical enclosures in an ISO/AS9100-compliant manufacturing environment.
Job Requirements
High school diploma
3–5 years of quality assurance or quality inspection experience in a manufacturing environment (electro-mechanical, bare PCB, and mechanical enclosure inspection)
Experience with MMIC technology (amplifiers, attenuators, filters, switches, etc.)
Familiarity with IPC industry standards
J-STD-001 Class 3 and/or IPC-610 certification
Experience working within ISO-9001 and/or AS9100 quality system environments
Physically able to spend up to 8 hours per day using a microscope
Computer literacy for recording inspection results and maintaining quality records
Documentation abilities for non-conformances, inspection reports, and quality records
Industry-relevant quality inspection or quality control experience
Willingness to cross-train in multiple quality areas
Preferred Skills
Experience performing line audits for documentation, consumables, tooling, and calibration status
Experience operating a variety of inspection equipment for electro-mechanical and PCB products
Job Responsibilities
Support incoming, in-process, and final inspections, including customer source inspections
Ensure quality at the production line level using spot inspection, sampling, first-piece verification, and 100% inspection as required
Verify compliance of in-process material against customer and industry standards
Accurately record and collect inspection and quality documentation
Identify defects, deviations from specifications, and non-compliance issues and collaborate with Quality and Engineering to resolve them
Investigate root causes of non-conformities and support implementation of corrective and preventive actions
Support first-piece verification runs and ensure all accompanying documentation is complete and accurate
Document non-conformities to processes and specifications in accordance with quality system requirements
Initiate and conduct regular quality line audits to verify documentation, consumables, and tooling status
Advocate and verify proper ESD controls, PPE usage, FOD prevention, calibration, and ISO compliance on the production floor
Operate appropriate inspection equipment, including microscopes and measurement tools, to validate product quality

Pay Details: $19.00 to $21.00 per hour
