Quality Inspector responsible for performing inspections, tests, and documentation to ensure products meet defined quality standards and specifications.
Job Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent
Proven experience as a Quality Inspector or similar role in a manufacturing or production environment
Strong knowledge of quality control techniques, inspection methods, and tools
Familiarity with quality management systems (e.g., ISO 9001) and relevant regulatory requirements
Proficiency in reading technical drawings, specifications, and schematics
Proficiency in using computer software and applications for inspection documentation and reporting
Preferred Skills
Additional technical certifications or training in quality inspection or a related technical field
Experience supporting internal and external quality audits
Experience tracking and verifying corrective and preventive actions
Job Responsibilities
Conduct thorough inspections and tests on raw materials, components, assemblies, and finished products to ensure adherence to quality standards and specifications
Utilize measuring tools, equipment, and testing devices to verify dimensions, tolerances, functionality, and performance
Perform visual inspections to identify defects, cosmetic flaws, or deviations from product requirements
Document inspection results, test data, and non-conformities and maintain accurate inspection, test, and audit records
Prepare detailed reports summarizing findings and recommend appropriate actions for resolution
Identify and communicate non-conforming products, processes, or materials to appropriate departments or stakeholders
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to investigate root causes of non-conformities and implement corrective and preventive actions
Track and monitor the effectiveness of corrective actions and verify their implementation
Evaluate quality control procedures, processes, and documentation to identify opportunities for improvement and waste reduction
Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulations, and quality management system requirements
Assist in internal and external audits by providing required documentation and support
Stay current with relevant quality control methods, technologies, and industry best practices
Pay Details: $13.00 to $16.00 per hour
