Tessera Aerospace Manufacturing is seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Quality Inspector to join our team in Auburn, WA. This entry-level position plays a critical role in ensuring that fabricated and machined aerospace components meet stringent quality standards. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working in a fast-paced, precision-driven environment and will be committed to continuous improvement and safety.
Typical duties include but are not limited to:
Perform incoming, in-process, and final inspections using precision tools (micrometers, calipers, height gauges, etc.)Conduct visual inspections based on internal and customer specificationsDocument inspection results in accordance with customer and internal requirementsVerify calibration of inspection tools and report deviationsCollaborate with Estimating, Planning, Programming, and Manufacturing teams on quality issuesIdentify and document non-conformances; generate NCRs and support corrective actionsConduct audits and participate in process improvement initiativesMaintain accurate and complete quality documentationVerify supplier certifications and reconcile discrepanciesSupport internal audit preparation and compliance effortsFollow all safety protocols and wear required PPE on the production floorCommunicate effectively across departments and contribute to team goalsQualifications:
0-3 Years experience in aerospace manufacturing or related fieldProficient with standard precision measuring toolsBasic understanding of blueprint reading and geometric tolerancingFamiliarity with MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)Knowledge of AS9100D standards preferredStrong attention to detail and ability to work independentlyWillingness to learn and cross-train in related inspection tasksPhysical Requirements:
