What You will Do:

Perform First Piece, In-Process, and Final Inspection activities.Inspect Certificates of Conformance from material, external suppliers, and service providers to ensure these items conform to customer purchase order requirements and specifications.Perform a variety of conventional/traditional inspection operations utilizing various inspection techniques.Assist machinists in quality-related activities.Assist with First Article Process.Ability to work effectively with others in a team environmentPerform duties as requested, directed, or assigned by the customer

 



Work Experience

What You Will Bring:

3-5 years of practical experience performing in-process and final inspections on various commodities, including Machined parts, Assemblies, and Sub-Assemblies.Understanding of Aerospace/Aviation quality standards, including AS9100, AS9102, and ANSI Y14.5 - Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerance (GD&T).Ability to read/interpret engineering drawings and Purchase Orders.Experience using various mechanical inspection tools - calipers, micrometers, etc.Experience performing First Article Inspections.AS9102 Assessment (desired).Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.DSQR/ DQR certified with Collins Aerospace, Pratt & Whitney, General Electric 

Pay Range:

$30.00/ hr - $35.00/hr

Compensation decisions are made based on factors including experience, skills, education, and other job-related factors, in accordance with our internal pay structure. We also offer a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, paid time off, and retirement plan.

Work Requirements: This role is considered an on-site position located in Southwick, MA.

You must be able to commute to and from the location with your own transportation arrangements to meet the required working hours. Shop floor environment, which may include but not limited to extensive walking, and ability to lift up to 40 lbs. 

 Travel requirements: Due to the nature of the work, 0% of travel is required.

Citizenship requirement: Due to the nature of the work, U.S. citizenship is required.
