**Job Title: Quality Inspector - Day Shift** **Job Description** We are seeking a dedicated Quality Inspector for our day shift to ensure the highest standards of quality in our aerospace finish applications. You will independently perform duties of a Level 1 Quality In-Process Inspector, ensuring all processes meet industry standards. **Responsibilities** + Perform inspections using measuring equipment such as micrometers, calipers, and coating thickness gages. + Read and interpret blueprints and aerospace finish process specifications. + Calibrate and use inspection measuring equipment effectively. + Stand for prolonged periods while performing inspection tasks. + Work independently and collaboratively in a team setting. + Communicate effectively with team members and management. + Maintain knowledge of configuration management processes. + Apply basic mathematical skills in daily tasks. **Essential Skills** + 1 to 2 years of experience as a Level 1 Quality In-Process Inspector or equivalent. + Experience in aerospace or production machine shop environments. + Proficiency in using micrometers, calipers, and other measuring tools. + Ability to read and interpret technical blueprints. + Good communication and cooperative skills. + Basic computer skills in MS Word and Excel. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + High school diploma or equivalent. + Understanding of aerospace finish process specifications. + Ability to work in a fast-paced and changing environment with multiple priorities. + Familiarity with configuration management. **Why Work Here?** Join a family-oriented company that values skill-based compensation and offers comprehensive benefits starting the first of the month, including four different medical plans through ETNA. The environment may have a chemical/paint smell, and the day shift operates Monday through Friday from 6 am to 2:30 pm. **Job Type & Location** This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Kent, Washington. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $25.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
