**QUALITY INSPECTOR (CMM Operator - Verisurf)** **POSITION SUMMARY** Responsible for performing routine inspections, first part buyoffs, final inspections, and FAI’s to ensure that product meets company standards, customer specifications, and any applicable regulatory standards. **ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS** + Perform quality inspections on material, in process parts and final machined product. + Perform/Complete First Part Buyoffs + Verify part conformity using Verisurf software. + Maintain and generate all required quality documentation including inspection and discrepancy reports. + Communicate effectively with machinists, operators, and management to maintain acceptable quality. + Perform other duties to support daily production activities. **_ESSENTIAL SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE_** + Minimum of 2 years of previous aerospace inspection experience + Previous experience using measuring equipment including micrometers, gauge controls, calipers, indicators, etc. + Minimum of 2 years of Portable CMM experience required (Prefer Verisurf software experience) + Ability to read and interpret aerospace engineering drawings, customer specifications and instructions. + Experience with Global Shop software preferred but not required. + Ability to professionally communicate and work well with others. + Proficient computer skills, required. + Ability to work in a fast-paced work environment while maintaining attention to detail. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $38.00/hr.
