**Job Title: Quality Inspector - Aft**
**Job Description**
As a Quality Inspector, you will perform receiving inspections, in-process and final inspections on all switches and part orders being shipped. You will conduct internal process and quality system audits, report findings, and apply sound judgment in making quality-related decisions. You will have the authority to halt non-conforming processes after notifying the appropriate personnel. Communicating drawing discrepancies to Engineering and participating in customer inspections are integral parts of this role. You will assist in writing and entering Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs), evaluate non-conforming components, and conduct dimensional analysis as needed. Additionally, you will write Corrective Action Requests (CARs) for audits and support employees in reporting problems requiring corrective actions.
**Responsibilities**
+ Perform receiving inspection as required.
+ Conduct in-process and final inspection tasks on all switches and part orders being shipped.
+ Perform internal process/quality system audits and report findings.
+ Exercise authority to halt non-conforming processes after notifying the appropriate personnel.
+ Communicate drawing discrepancies to Engineering.
+ Participate in customer inspections as needed.
+ Create and assist team members in writing and entering NCRs.
+ Assist in evaluating non-conforming components, including conducting dimensional analysis.
+ Write CARs for audits and assist employees in reporting problems requiring corrective actions.
+ Report violations of ISO Standards to the Quality Manager.
+ Participate in the prototype review process for newly developed products.
+ Review supplier documentation, including dimensional analysis and certifications.
+ Develop and maintain necessary documentation and assist in document control.
+ Engage in regular communication and cooperation with cross-functional teams.
**Essential Skills**
+ 5+ years in a quality supervision position.
+ Manufacturing experience.
+ Mechanical and electrical knowledge.
+ Inventory control experience.
+ Quality certifications such as ASQ.
+ Ability to read and interpret blueprints and wiring diagrams.
**Additional Skills & Qualifications**
+ Familiarity with electrical/mechanical products.
+ Experience in continuous improvement processes.
+ Schooling related to quality supervision.

**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $23.00/hr.
