Job Title: Quality Inspector
Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated Quality Inspector responsible for supporting our Quality department with quality control activities related to the manufacture of Tissue Heart Valves (THV) within our production facilities in Leeds and Irvine. The role involves in-process and final inspection, labeling/packaging, and documentation. You will also provide routine reports and communications to update on inspection status timely.Responsibilities
Inspect every valve that comes through the process, using an automated system to monitor for defects.Conduct routine testing on THV, including functional, visual, and final inspection processes.Support sterilization preparation and take apart and clean equipment as needed.Adhere to Quality System and record retention requirements.Comply with all site Health & Safety requirements.Contribute to continuous improvement efforts related to valve manufacture and inspection processes.Inspect final packaging labels to ensure they are applied correctly according to standards and Work Instructions.Support other areas of the business as necessary and applicable to the role.Essential Skills
Strong inspection skills, particularly in a medical device/cleanroom environment.Proficient computer skills, especially in Excel.Experience in in-process inspection, ideally 3 to 5 years.Experience with heart tissue valves is highly desired.Additional Skills & Qualifications
Diploma required; Bachelor's degree preferred.Additional Information:
1st Shift - 7am to 3:30pm Monday through Friday, minimal Overtime as required. No weekends
**This is a temp assignment covering for someone on leave. There is potential to go permanent in other departments if they do well if if the person on leave doesn't return.

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $25.00 - $25.00/hr.
