Job Description
The Quality Inspector conducts origination inspection of parts and supplies, ensuring the quality of products through assessment and analyses using specific procedural standards.Responsibilities
Follow standardized procedures to perform first part, final, and receiving inspections on a wide variety of parts and assemblies.Utilize standard mechanical and electrical instruments, functional gauges, and test rigs.Accurately compare products to engineering drawings/specifications, purchase orders, and inspection plans using common manual inspection equipment.Identify and document non-conformances.Provide constructive feedback for quality improvement.Work under direct supervision and in accordance with instructions and techniques.Essential Skills
One year of quality inspection experience or equivalent specialized training.Proficient use of basic meteorology equipment including calipers, height gage, surface plate, protractor, radius gauge, micrometer, and dial indicator.Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.Knowledge of Microsoft Office products and ERP manufacturing software.Basic computer tasks (MS Windows, Office, ERP Software).Additional Skills & Qualifications
Experience using meteorology equipment such as calipers, height gage, surface plate, protractor, radius gauge, micrometer, and dial indicator.Working knowledge of GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing) is desired.Inspection skills with FARO Arm and Programmable CMM are desired.QI experience in a metal fabrication environment is preferred.Ability to speak effectively and interact with other team members.Experience with measuring tools (thickness gauges, micrometers, calipers) and using hand tools.Why Work Here?

The work environment is a sheet metal manufacturing shop featuring welders, powder coaters, brake operators, and quality inspectors. You will be part of a small team in a new facility with the opportunity to grow as the site expands to over 60+ people. The Spokane facility exclusively makes parts for the largest customer, providing a unique chance to be involved in the early stages of growth in a dynamic setting.Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Spokane, WA.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $22.00 - $30.45/hr.
