Quality Inspector
Job Description
As a Quality Inspector, you will perform inspections both in process and final of parts and assemblies based on engineering drawings, documents, and blueprints. You will inspect incoming manufactured products for conformance to technical specifications and evaluate and complete special customer requirements such as First Article Inspection. Your role will involve facilitating root cause and corrective actions to address findings and defects. You will utilize measuring equipment including but not limited to surface plates, micrometers, height gauges, radius gauges, and bore gauges. Additionally, you will be responsible for entering all findings into the company database.
Responsibilities
Conduct in-process and final inspections of parts and assemblies according to engineering documents.Inspect incoming products to ensure they meet technical specifications.Evaluate and complete special customer requirements, including First Article Inspection.Facilitate root cause and corrective actions for defects and findings.Utilize various measuring equipment for inspections.Document and enter inspection findings into the company database.Essential Skills
2+ years of quality experience in a manufacturing field (Military, Aerospace, Automotive, or Metal preferred).Proficiency in using and reading measuring tools such as micrometers and gauges.Experience with blueprints.Basic understanding of ISO 9000 and AS9120 standards.High school diploma or GED.Additional Skills & Qualifications
Experience with documentation in either Aerospace or Military industry.Experience using a computer and Microsoft Office programs.ASQ certification or an associate's degree in Quality would be preferred but not necessary.Why Work Here?

Work Environment
You will work in the Quality Lab where you will have your own station with workspace and a computer. Inspections can be conducted at your station or at other locations within the quality lab depending on the product.

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $52000.00 - $62400.00/yr.
