Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Quality Inspector to join our team at a leading manufacturer and distributor of solar trackers and structures for solar panels. This position involves operating machines to form metal by cutting and pressing it to specification, ensuring the quality of products built for solar panel structures. The role requires constant movement of parts within a repetitive process to efficiently progress products down the line.
Responsibilities
Operate machinery such as band saws, press stamping machines, and punch presses.Perform quality inspections using micrometers and calipers.Ensure compliance with ISO 9001 standards and complete NCR reports.Work collaboratively with assemblers, plasma cutters, press brake, forklift operators, and general fabricators.Maintain high standards of safety and quality in non-climate controlled environments.Essential Skills
Minimum of 2 years recent experience in manufacturing QC.Proficiency in using micrometers and calipers.Experience working in non-climate controlled environments.Ability to work 45+ hours per week, including 6+ days.Additional Skills & Qualifications
Experience in structural steel manufacturing.Previous experience in solar manufacturing environments.Strong initiative and high energy levels.Why Work Here?

Work Environment
Work at our large facilities in Houston, TX. The South location features a new facility with open-air assembly areas, while the North West location offers a fully air-conditioned and clean environment. Shifts are available across all three shifts from Monday to Friday, with additional work on most Saturdays and alternating Sundays, averaging 45 to 52 hours per week.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $24.00/hr.
