Quality Inspector
**Job Title: Quality Inspector** Job Description As a Quality Inspector, you will be responsible for inspecting incoming materials to ensure compliance with design and regulatory standards. You will follow quality system procedures, maintain inspection records, and work independently to complete tasks within set timelines. Effective communication with internal teams and vendors in English is essential, as is the ability to read and interpret design data, GD&T, and product specifications. You will also conduct in-process inspections and ensure proper self-checking by operators and machinists, review supplier data for compliance with quality standards, and operate and maintain measurement equipment. Responsibilities + Inspect incoming materials for design and regulatory compliance. + Follow quality system procedures and maintain inspection records. + Work independently to complete tasks within set timelines. + Communicate effectively with internal teams and vendors. + Read and interpret design data, GD&T, and product specifications. + Conduct in-process inspections and ensure self-checking by operators and machinists. + Review supplier data for compliance with quality standards. + Operate and maintain measurement equipment, including calipers, micrometers, and CMM equipment. + Calibrate test equipment and maintain MS Office proficiency. + Use ERP systems and office machines. + Maintain a clean work area and assist with other tasks as needed. + Comply with company policies and procedures. Essential Skills + Proficiency in using hand tools, grinding, micrometers, and calipers. + Experience in CNC operating, fabrication, blueprint reading, and machine operation. + 3-5 years of machine shop quality/inspection experience preferred. Additional Skills & Qualifications + Familiarity with ERP systems and office machines. + Ability to operate and maintain CMM equipment is optional but beneficial. Why Work Here? The environment is climate-controlled, with air conditioning in the summer and heating in the winter. Work is performed in warehouse, office, and controlled environments. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Fridley, Minnesota. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $30.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
