If **Quality Inspector** sounds like something you would be interested in, and you meet the qualifications listed below, apply now! **Quality Inspector** **Key Responsibilities:** **What your day-to-day will look like:** • Maintain a high-quality relationship with the manufacturing team they are supporting • Support manufacturing Build in Quality initiative by providing a last line of defense inspection of the product for their area • Execute product and process validation / inspection plans • Identify and contain suspect defective material • Have the potential to utilize advanced metrology equipment to control processes and identify defects • Inspect, test or measure components, products and materials being produced. • Initiate and participate in quality related continuous improvement (Kaizen) projects • Develop, maintain, and improve the quality culture within responsible area • May perform other duties as assigned Potential business travel to support product /process development at company • No direct reports **Minimum Qualifications:** • Manufacturing/assembly/quality process and/or automotive repair and/or mechanical experience (+2 years preferred) **Preferred Qualifications:** • Pre-production vehicles and High volume manufacturing experience • Problem solving experience • Continuous improvement process experience • Electrical vehicles features knowledge • Customer quality expectations understanding • Good oral and written communication skills • Knowledge of statistical process control / control charts • High school education or equivalent (Bachelor Degree preferred) • 2+ years of manufacturing, assembly, or quality experience. • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating instructions, and procedure manuals. • Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. • Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form. • Ability to communicate in a high-pressure environment.
