Quality Inspector
Adecco is assisting a local client with identifying qualified candidates to join their Quality Control Department. **Knowlege/Experience** + 1+ years of work plastics manufacturing field experience + computer skills, spreadsheet, word processing and electronic mail systems + Read, analyze and interpret documents such as drawings. schematics and blueprints. + Extensive reporting and data entry. + Bilingual: English/Spanish preferred Essential Duties & Responsibilities + Perform efficient inspection of parts being produced in the production floor. Includes visual and dimensional inspection in compliance with specified instructions in job packet. + Perform routine and non-routine visual inspection of parts from all machines in the cell on a rotational basis including box and lot inspections + Complete lot inspection per AQL requirements or as defined within the specific job packets. + Assist in the disposition of product to be reworked or placed on old for disposition as needed. + Performs start up, in-process and last shot inspection. + Review daily training for each operation, verify if training id documented on the training log sheet. + Communicate quality issues throughout the shift and to the next shift coming on at the transfer meeting. + Maintain a safe work environment at all times. Report any unsafe conditions to the Supervisor. + Contribute to the team effort maintaining good manufacturing practices (GMP) and 6S rating + Understand and use non-conforming material procedure and implement to handle out of specification product + Assist on the root cause and corrective actions of internal rejects as needed + Occasional pushing, pulling, lifting and/or moving up to 50 pounds. + Bending or squatting required + Support manufacturing activities as required + Perform any other functions or duties as directed by Supervisor. + Multi-task in fast paced environment, manage multiple tasks and changing priorities using strong organization and prioritization skillsWhat Adecco offers: *Benefits starting on the first of the month following hire date* + 401k with company match + Medical, Dental, Vision + Weekly Pay + Career at a company with a strong and stable business outlook and opportunities for long-term growth and advancement. **Pay Details:** $13.50 per hour Benefit offerings available for our associates include medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, additional voluntary benefits, EAP program, commuter benefits and a 401K plan.
