As a Quality Inspector, you will ensure that aerospace components and assemblies meet stringent quality standards and FAA regulations. You will support Boeing aircraft products by performing inspections, verifying documentation, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to uphold a commitment to quality and compliance.
ResponsibilitiesInspect complex GD&T hardware using precision tools such as micrometers, bore gauges, dial indicators, and optical comparators.Review engineering drawings, specifications, and contractual documents for compliance.Conduct First Article Inspections (FAI) per AS9102 using DISCUS/Net Inspect.Verify supplier compliance with purchase order quality flow-down requirements.Perform in-process and final inspections of assemblies and components.Document inspection results, non-conformances, and corrective actions.Support FAA regulatory compliance including CFR 14 Part 21 and Form 8130-3.Utilize CMM equipment for dimensional verification (preferred).Collaborate with engineering and production teams to resolve quality issues.
Essential Skills3+ years of experience in aerospace quality inspection.Proficiency in AS9100, ISO 9001, and FAA regulations.Strong schematic reading and Y14.5 GD&T interpretation.Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite.
Additional Skills & QualificationsHigh School Diploma or GED.IPC-A-610, IPC-A-620, and J-STD-001 certifications.Experience supporting Boeing aircraft components (preferred).CMM operation experience (preferred).Certified Quality Inspector (CQI) or equivalent (preferred).

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $38.00/hr.
