Job Title: Quality Inspector
Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Quality Inspector to join our dynamic team. This role involves performing meticulous inspections of mechanical and electronic assemblies, components, and subassemblies. The position operates from Monday to Thursday, from 8am to 5pm, and on Fridays for 4 hours, with some flexibility in start time. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring adherence to strict quality standards in a temperature-controlled environment.

ResponsibilitiesPerform incoming, in-process, and final inspections of mechanical and electronic assemblies, components, and subassemblies for SDR and embedded hardware systems.Utilize visual and magnification-aided inspection tools to assess placement accuracy, solder quality, and adherence to IPC-A-610/J-STD-001 standards.Detect and document common PCA issues, such as cold joints, misaligned or missing components, solder bridges, and polarity errors on SMT and thru-hole assemblies.Verify component and assembly specifications against engineering drawings, BOMs, test records, and kit sheets.Essential SkillsKnowledge and training in IPC-610 Class 2 & 3 (certification preferred).2-3 years of experience performing incoming inspection of PCB assemblies.2-3 years of experience performing final inspection of electromechanical assemblies.Ability to read and understand mechanical drawings for inspection purposes.Ability to read and understand PCB (Bare Board) drawings for inspecting Bare PC boards.Additional Skills & QualificationsHigh school diploma or equivalent (technical certifications a plus).Minimum 4 years’ experience in electronics manufacturing or quality control, ideally within RF, aerospace, defense, or high-reliability environments.Hands-on experience with IPC-A-610 and/or IPC J-STD-001 standards.Solid knowledge of SMT and thru-hole component identification and orientation.Skilled in using calipers, microscopes, and other standard inspection tools.Familiarity with RF assembly and ESD protocols is a strong plus.Strong communication, documentation, and collaboration skills.Proficient in Microsoft Office and comfortable using QMS or ERP tools for data entry and tracking.Self-motivated with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced production setting.Why Work Here?

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $30.00/hr.
