We are seeking a meticulous and proactive Quality Inspector to uphold the structural and electrical integrity of metal enclosures and electrical houses. This role is critical to ensuring compliance with engineering standards, building codes, and manufacturer specifications throughout the construction and integration process. The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in metal fabrication, welding inspection, and electrical systems, contributing to a culture of quality, safety, and continuous improvement. Key Responsibilities: Structural Inspection: • Perform thorough inspections of metal enclosures to verify compliance with engineering drawings, customer specifications, and applicable building codes (UBC, IBC, ASCE, etc.). • Conduct visual and dimensional inspections throughout the construction process to ensure structural integrity and alignment with design intent. • Apply deep knowledge of metal fabrication and welding processes to assess quality and workmanship. • Perform welding inspections in accordance with AWS standards; Certified Welding Inspector (CWI) certification is required. Electrical Equipment Inspection: • Inspect installation of electrical equipment inside electrical houses to ensure adherence to manufacturer recommendations. • Verify integration of electrical systems per design drawings and manufacturer specifications. Quality Assurance & Continuous Improvement: • Take proactive measures based on lessons learned to prevent recurrence of issues that could impact project execution. • Identify opportunities for improvement in product design or project execution and communicate findings to the engineering team. • Ensure compliance with ABB quality standards and contribute to the continuous improvement of quality processes. Collaboration & Communication: • Foster a cooperative and collaborative relationship with other quality team members. • Maintain clear and effective communication with cross-functional teams including engineering, manufacturing, and project management. Health, Safety & Environment (HSE): • Promote and ensure strong HSE practices are followed at the manufacturing site. • Participate in safety audits and contribute to a culture of safety and accountability. ________________________________________ Qualifications: • Proven experience in structural and electrical inspection, preferably in metal building or enclosure manufacturing. • Deep knowledge of metal fabrication and welding processes is required. • Deep knowledge of metal fabrication is essential. • Certified Welding Inspector (CWI) certification is required. • Familiarity with building codes such as UBC, IBC, ASCE, NEC • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications. • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills. • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities. • Commitment to safety and continuous improvement. ________________________________________ Preferred Certifications: • AWS Certified Welding Inspector (CWI) • Building Inspector Certification • Electrical Inspection Certification (e.g., NICET, NETA)

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $50.00 - $55.00/hr.
