Leidos’ Mid-Atlantic Depot (MAD) located in Chesapeake; VA has an opening for a Quality Inspector supporting the Quality organization. The selected candidate is required to be onsite at the MAD facility and will support the FAA MSBRS program in conducting quality oversights related to inspections, processing, drawing reviews and configuration controls, manufacturing and testing.

The candidate will perform inspections, oversee testing activities and communicate/coordinate with internal and external customers. The candidate’s comprehension of the Mid Atlantic Depot’s quality standards is essential to ensure delivering quality products that meet our customer's high standards.

Primary Responsibilities:

Perform inspections of sub-assemblies and rack builds to printsInspection of detailed machined components to drawing specificationConduct quality oversight of Production Acceptance Testing (PAT)Confirming documentation is complete and accurateEnsure products meets requirements and customer’s expectations.Perform Configuration Management verificationsVerification of kitted materials being shippedEnsure Quality Management System and procedures are followedSupports facility’s audit programCommunicate with Leidos support teams and external customers (FAA), as necessary

Basic Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent and at least 1 year of prior relevant experience.Experience with manufacturing of cables, sub-assemblies and rack buildsUnderstanding of detailed mechanical drawingsKnowledge of configuration management and document controlExperience with Production Acceptance Testing and processUnderstanding of calibration and calibration systems protocolsAbility to review test results and supporting documentation for conformanceCapability to follow quality processes and procedureExperience with Microsoft OfficeAbility to communication and interact with internal and external customersGood oral, written and documentation skills.
