Quality Inspector
**Job Title: Quality Inspector** **Job Description** We are seeking a dedicated Quality Assurance Inspector responsible for performing day-to-day first part and lot inspection of products. The role involves utilizing various inspection tools such as micrometers, calipers, height gauges, plug and thread gauges, digital comparator, and FARO Arm with Verisurf software to ensure products meet specified requirements. The inspector will read customer engineering drawings and work orders, complete First Article Inspection Reports, support production personnel with inspection issues, and manage Reject tags using an ERP system for nonconforming products. Documentation of inspections in the daily catch log is a crucial part of the role. **Responsibilities** + Perform consistent and accurate inspections without escapes. + Complete First Article Inspection Reports accurately as required, especially during final inspection processes. + Interpret and implement inspection and customer requirements based on imposed standards. + Conduct detailed and timely inspections. + Organize and maintain accurate records of inspections and duties. **Essential Skills** + Proficiency in using inspection tools such as micrometers, calipers, height gauges, plug and thread gauges, digital comparator, and FARO Arm with Verisurf software. + Ability to accurately interpret customer engineering drawings, parts lists, OPSS, and specifications. + Familiarity with AS9102 First Article Inspection Reports and capability to complete them per requirements. + Previous inspection experience in a machine shop environment or a machine/fabricated components manufacturing facility. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Experience with FARO Arm utilizing Verisurf software. + Skill in using CMM and FAI processes. **Why Work Here?** Join a locally owned company with over 70 years of history, offering stability and a supportive work environment.
