**Job Title: Aircraft Quality Inspector**
**Job Description**
We are seeking a Quality Inspector to perform aircraft inspections on commercial airline aircraft, parts, and components in accordance with FAA standards and regulations. The role involves supporting two programs: a storage program for aging aircraft and the Air Force Reserves KC-135 aircraft phase maintenance.
**Pay:**
**$35.00 to $40.00 per hour.**
**Responsibilities**
+ Conduct detailed inspections of commercial aircraft, ensuring compliance with FAA standards and regulations.
+ Support the disassembly of aircraft and harvesting of parts for maintenance programs and part sales.
+ Perform inspections as part of the phase maintenance on Air Force Reserves KC-135 aircraft.
**Skills & Qualifications**
+ 5+ years of aircraft maintenance experience.
+ 2+ years of experience in quality inspection with Commercial Fixed Wing aircraft.
+ Proficiency in A&P, quality inspection, and aircraft inspection.
+ Familiarity with commercial aircraft such as Boeing and Airbus.

**Work Environment**
The position is based in an aircraft hangar, with a day shift schedule from 6 am to 4 pm, Monday through Friday.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Birmingham, Alabama.
**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $35.00 - $40.00/hr.
