Quality Inspector
**Quality Inspector** **Job Description** As a Quality Inspector, you will be responsible for quality-checking light fixtures for multiple lighting products. You will utilize quality measuring tools such as Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMM), sampling, and calipers. Cross-training in various positions throughout the facility will be necessary, and adaptability to learn other roles is crucial. **Responsibilities** + Conduct planned and random audits of manufacturing processes and products during and after production according to established practices and guidelines. + Coordinate precise and ongoing calibration activities for all company equipment, entering data in the system and generating reports as specified. + Order appropriate measuring and test equipment as required. + Complete tasks as directed by the manager with minimum supervision. + Comply with all company policies, rules, guidelines, and behavior expectations. + Perform other duties as requested, assigned, or directed. **Essential Skills** + Proficiency in using calipers, micrometers, and other measuring tools. + Experience in auditing, data entry, and quality checks. + At least 2 years of experience in a quality auditor inspector role. + Understanding of testing equipment in manufacturing, inspection, quality control, and internal audits. + Ability to read, speak, and write English. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + High School Diploma or GED. + Qualified candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States. **Why Work Here?** You will enjoy a 'best-in-class' benefits program that includes competitive pay. The industrial assembly environment comprises about 10 workstations throughout the main floor of the facility. The position requires physical abilities such as walking, standing, bending, and lifting between 15-45 pounds. Depth perception and color distinction are also required. **Job Type & Location** This is a Contract to Hire position based out of San Antonio, Texas. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $20.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
