**Quality Inspector** **Job Description** As a Quality Inspector, you will be responsible for quality-checking light fixtures for multiple lighting products. You will utilize quality measuring tools such as Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMM), sampling, and calipers. Cross-training in various positions throughout the facility will be necessary, and adaptability to learn other roles is crucial. **Responsibilities** + Conduct planned and random audits of manufacturing processes and products during and after production according to established practices and guidelines. + Coordinate precise and ongoing calibration activities for all company equipment, entering data in the system and generating reports as specified. + Order appropriate measuring and test equipment as required. + Complete tasks as directed by the manager with minimum supervision. + Comply with all company policies, rules, guidelines, and behavior expectations. + Perform other duties as requested, assigned, or directed. **Essential Skills** + Proficiency in using calipers, micrometers, and other measuring tools. + Experience in auditing, data entry, and quality checks. + At least 2 years of experience in a quality auditor inspector role. + Understanding of testing equipment in manufacturing, inspection, quality control, and internal audits. + Ability to read, speak, and write English. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + High School Diploma or GED. + Qualified candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States. **Why Work Here?** You will enjoy a 'best-in-class' benefits program that includes competitive pay. Depth perception and color distinction are also required. **Job Type & Location** This is a Contract to Hire position based out of San Antonio, Texas. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $20.00/hr.
