Volt is immediately hiring for a Quality Inspector in Gardena, CA.

As a Quality Inspector, you will:

Perform in-process and final inspections of precision aerospace components Write and maintain dimensional data for First Article Inspection (FAI) reports in compliance with AS9102 standards Use measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, height gauges, and other inspection equipment Review blueprints, engineering specifications, and customer requirements to ensure conformance Identify and document non-conformances and assist in root cause analysis and corrective actions Maintain detailed inspection records and support quality audits Work closely with production and QA teams to ensure quality objectives are met

This is a full-time Temp-to-Hire opportunity on 2nd Shift: Monday – Friday, 2:30PM – 11:00PM.

The ideal candidate will have:

2+ years of experience in quality inspection within the aerospace or precision manufacturing industry Hands-on experience creating First Article Inspection Reports (FAIRs) using AS9102 format Ability to read and interpret engineering blueprints and technical drawings Proficiency with common precision measuring tools and inspection techniques Strong written documentation and communication skills Attention to detail and a commitment to quality and safety Familiarity with ISO 9001/AS9100 quality systems preferred

Pay Rate: $22.00 - $25.00 per hour

*Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
