Quality Initiatives Manager **POSITION SUMMARY:** Lead strategic quality transformation initiatives by aligning with the organization's quality blueprint. Conduct gap analysis across processes and systems to identify improvement opportunities. Collaborate cross-functionally to design and simulate innovative quality solutions before transitioning them into full-scale programs. Emphasis is placed on strategic planning, cross-functional engagement, and data-driven decision-making. This role also serves as a subject matter expert in quality tools, mentoring others and helping develop internal expertise. The manager supports and contributes to company-wide continuous improvement projects and participates in 8D problem-solving sessions to help resolve complex quality issues **ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES:** + Align quality initiatives with strategic transformation goals and enterprise quality blueprint. + Participate in problem-solving sessions for 8D, helping teams identify root causes and corrective actions. + Conduct organizational studies and gap analyses to identify areas for quality improvement. + Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and develop tailored quality solutions. + Simulate and validate proposed solutions to ensure effectiveness and scalability. + Prepare initiatives for transition into formal program/project implementation. + Benchmark industry best practices and integrate relevant methodologies into solution design. + Facilitate stakeholder engagement and communication throughout initiative lifecycle. + Support change management and training efforts to ensure successful adoption of solutions. + Provide strategic updates and recommendations to leadership based on initiative outcomes. + Act as a subject matter expert in quality tools and practices, offering guidance across teams. + Mentor and coach employees to improve their skills in using quality tools and methodologies. + Help develop internal subject matter experts by organizing training sessions and sharing best practices. + Contribute to company-wide continuous improvement projects and ensure teams stay aligned with strategic goals. + Participate in problem-solving sessions for 8D issues, helping teams identify root causes and corrective actions. **WORK ENVIRONMENT:** Works in standard office environment within a factory which is normally fast paced. Uses general office equipment (phone, PC copier, fax machine etc.). Travel may be required frequently to AE Global Sites. **SKILLS:** + Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. + Excellent stakeholder management and communication abilities. + Proficiency in quality tools and methodologies (e.g., 8D, SPC, Root Cause Analysis). + Ability to lead strategic initiatives and influence cross-functional teams. + Knowledge of smart manufacturing and digital quality systems. + Adaptability to work across time zones and manage global coordination. **EXPERIENCE:** + Minimum 6 years (Master) or 8 years (Bachelor) of experience in quality management or improvement initiatives. + Proven track record in leading cross-functional quality improvement projects. + Experience in simulation modeling and validation of quality solutions. + Familiarity with industry standards such as ISO, IATF and regulatory compliance. **EDUCATION:** + Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Quality Management, Industrial Engineering or related field. + Lean Six Sigma or equivalent quality certification is an advantage. **WHY JOIN US!** As part of our total rewards philosophy, we believe in offering and maintaining competitive compensation and benefits programs for our employees to attract and retain a talented, highly engaged workforce.
