As a Quality Engineer, you will be responsible for researching, testing, and evaluating the design, functionality, and maintenance of products, equipment, systems, and processes. This role involves developing and implementing quality standards to ensure product integrity and compliance. You must be adept at reading and interpreting blueprints and assessing adherence to engineering specifications.
ResponsibilitiesDesign sampling procedures and develop documentation for recording, evaluating, and reporting quality and reliability data.Establish programs to assess the precision and accuracy of production and testing equipment, measurement tools, and analytical data.Develop training materials and conduct sessions on quality control processes.Specialize in specific areas of quality engineering such as product design, incoming material inspection, process control, product evaluation and reliability, inventory control, metrology, automated testing, software quality, R&D support, and administrative applications.
Essential SkillsStrong analytical and problem-solving skills.Proficient in reading and interpreting blueprints, technical drawings, schematics, and computer-generated reports.Familiarity with engineering software and tools, including Computer-Aided Design (CAD).
Additional Skills & QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Engineering is required.0–2 years of relevant experience preferred.Experience reviewing and approving supplier PPAP (Production Part Approval Process) submittals is required.Creative thinker with excellent verbal and written communication abilities.Detail-oriented and collaborative team player.
