Description
The Quality Assurance Technician will be responsible for supporting the Quality team in multiple areas and depts. In a small company environment, will be required to do some quality documentation, (NCR's, updated reports, quality customer files) in support of quality engineers, will be required to do Inspection of Electronics assemblies for the technician team to see if there are defects not meeting IPC standards that are identified in a Lab environment, will be also managing the requirements and paperwork for the materials received from suppliers. Would be helpful if they are familiar with Space or NASA requirements and can support the storage of materials.
•\tReview materials, parts procurement, and processes for compliance with PA/QA and technical standards
•\tGenerate product and quality assurance documentation in collaboration with project managers, engineers, and team members
•\tMaintain quality control data and records collected during PA/QA activities
•\tManage Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs), Requests for Deviation (RFDs), and Requests for Waiver (RFWs), perform any needed root cause or corrective actions
•\tDefine, witness, and verify QA project requirements
•\tInterface with customer Product Assurance (PA) and QA representatives
•\tPerform inspections and witness manufacturing, assembly, integration, and testing activities; provide feedback as needed

MUST HAVE 5+ years of experience in Quality (NCR's, quality requirements, quality documentation and reports, Inspection), root cause analysis, corrective actions
MUST HAVE experience with electronics, components within electronic assembly (PC Boards, soldered parts, cables, wires, harnesses) - preferably for Space flight Hardware
MUST HAVE direct experience or Certifications with IPC standards (IPC J-STD-001, IPC/WHMA-A-620, NASA-STD-8739.6, IPC-7711 / 7722)

The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $39.00/hr.
