Position Overview
Abbott Nutrition, Casa Grande, Arizona, is seeking a highly motivated Quality Assurance professional to serve as the primary quality representative supporting cross‑functional project teams. This role is responsible for ensuring products, processes, equipment, and systems meet Abbott Nutrition Quality System requirements and applicable regulatory standards across the full product lifecycle.
The ideal candidate brings strong quality engineering expertise, a working knowledge of GMP and food/nutrition regulations, and the ability to influence teams, resolve issues, and drive continuous improvement.

What you will work on:
Serve as the primary Quality Assurance representative for assigned project teamsTake decisive action to identify, assess, and resolve quality and compliance issuesEnsure project teams maintain records in compliance with the Abbott Nutrition Quality SystemAuthor, review, approve, and provide feedback on quality records and documentationMonitor and maintain the validation status of site products, processes, systems, and equipmentMaintain Process FMEA and equipment/software risk analysis recordsSupport site validation plans, validation listings, and periodic reviewsCommunicate quality status through metrics, trend reporting, risk identification, CAPAs, and improvement initiativesEnsure compliance and quality status of procedures, work instructions, and training materialsAuthor, revise, and update Abbott Nutrition policies and proceduresIdentify and implement continuous improvement initiatives within the Quality SystemProvide training and guidance based on a deep understanding of quality and regulatory requirementsServe as a Subject Matter Expert during internal and external audits (Design QA, Validation QA, Operations QA)Ensure quality records are audit‑ready and able to withstand regulatory and internal auditsEnsure consistent application of quality and compliance practices across teams and the divisionFoster a work environment that supports team effectiveness and accountabilityCoach and mentor staff, supporting performance, training, and developmentCollaborate with Quality Management on staffing and recruitment planningEnsure products, processes, equipment, and software designed, changed, or purchased meet quality and regulatory standardsRequired Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experiencePrevious Quality Engineering experienceExperience supporting the development and/or manufacturing of nutrition productsWorking knowledge of cGMP and/or ISO Quality SystemsAbility to travel 0–10%, as neededPreferred Qualifications

The base pay for this position is $99,300.00 – $198,700.00. In specific locations, the pay range may vary from the range posted.
