RESPONSIBILITIES:Raise the bar of the iOS SDET teamDefine a strategy and lead the Team through complex projectsDevelop/Add new methods/libraries for the XCUI TestsPartner with iOS developers to pave the way for automation of new platforms/featuresBe a strong voice for app quality and user experienceAttend feature meetings such as Sprint Planning/Grooming, standups, desk checks, UATs etc.Provide frequent reporting on product qualification status and system performance metrics to functional teams and senior managementWork with teams to make testing an integral part of the software development processAssist in driving adoption of best practices on the SDET teamAssist in mentoring and coaching
REQUIREMENTS:8+ years of experience in software QA with at least 2 years in a team lead role6+ years experience with building UITests off XCTest framework for iOS, TvOS and WatchOS AppsExperience defining an automation test strategy for an entire product/featureExperience working as an automation lead in a cross functional environmentExperience with mentoring other SDETs and improving UITest code qualityExceptional test aptitude and expertise in formal and informal testing techniques as well as quality reportingExperience working in a CI/CD environment such as CircleCI, GHA etc.Experience working with cross-functional scrum teams and is an Excellent team playerAbility to accomplish complex engineering tasks independently
PERFERRED:Hands on experience in building automated testing frameworks from the ground upHands on experience in building an in-house device farmHands on experience with setting up and configuring GHA or CircleCIHands on experience with Product analytics and Observability toolsExperience implementing a mocking frameworkExperience with release management
