Who knows where our shared journey will take you? **Transform the everyday with us!** As an intern with the **Electrification and Automation (EA)** division of **Siemens Smart Infrastructure** , you’ll gain **hands-on experience** supporting power distribution systems that keep the world running today, while also being exposed to our Future Grids technologies that are shaping the power systems of tomorrow - all within a **collaborative, impact-driven environment** . **We are seeking qualified candidates to join our Quality Engineering Internship, beginning in May or June 2026. This position will be based at our Wendell, North Carolina office location.** **You’ll make an impact by:** + Monitoring manufacturing processes and supporting the creation and maintenance of quality data systems. + Identifying continuous improvement opportunities and assisting with implementation of best practices on the shop floor. + Supporting continuous improvement initiatives by assisting with activities such as PFMEAs, ITPs, and Control plans to support manufacturing lines. + Capturing and documenting root cause analysis using structured problem-solving methods. + Supporting containment and corrective actions for quality issues through Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPA) and related quality processes. **You’ll win us over by having the following qualifications:** **Basic Qualifications:** + Rising junior or senior pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field. Candidates must not graduate prior to September 2026. + Experience working in a manufacturing or production environment. + Ability to work full-time (40 hours per week) for the duration of the 12-week summer internship. + Eligible candidates must be located within 50 miles of Wendell, NC, as this role does not provide relocation support. + Legally authorized to work in the United States on a continual and permanent basis without company sponsorship. **Preferred Qualifications:** + Experience with Power BI and quality tools (Fishbone, PDCA, 8D). + Familiarity with quality data analysis or visualization tools. + Exposure to quality management systems or standards (e.g., ISO). + Prior experience supporting quality or manufacturing improvement efforts. + Strong written and verbal communication skills. + Attention to detail and ability to support corrective and preventive actions. **About Siemens:** We are a global technology company focused on industry, infrastructure, transport, and healthcare.
