Description:You will be the Quality Engineer Supervisor, leading the quality department for the Tactical and Strike Missile (TSM) programs at our Lufkin, TX facility. Our team is responsible for ensuring quality and mission success, and you will play a key role in defining and executing strategic plans.
What You Will Be Doing
As the Quality Engineer Supervisor, you will be responsible for providing direction to quality personnel, acting as a quality liaison with product management and cross-functional teams, and interfacing with customers, including on-site DCMA personnel. You will develop and implement quality systems to support site operations and comply with AS9100 Quality Management Systems.
Your responsibilities will include:
-Defining and executing strategic plans for the TSM quality department
-Staffing and providing direction to TSM quality personnel
-Acting as quality liaison with local product management and cross-functional teams
-Developing and implementing quality systems to support site operations
-Interfacing with customers, including on-site DCMA personnel

MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN - This position is located at a facility that requires special access. The selected candidate must be able to obtain a secret clearance.
Basic Qualifications:
-Bachelors degree in STEM or related field, and/or equivalent experience/education.
-Strong understanding and working knowledge of ISO9000 / AS9100 Quality Management Systems
-Previous quality experience with product life cycles including development through sales and delivery
-Advanced understanding of Quality principles
-Experience with control and disposition of non-conforming material
-Experience in solving complex problems associated with the quality of products and with regard to quality owned processes (FAI, CCB, CAB, etc.)
-Proficient skill level with Microsoft Office applications: Excel, PowerPoint, etc.
-Must be able to effectively communicate and interact with Technical Operations, Manufacturing, and all other stakeholders
Desired Skills:
- STEM degree at bachelors level or higher preferred.
-Experience working with Government customers in the Aerospace Industry
- Lean / Six Sigma Green or Black Belt Certification
- Advanced AS9102 Interpretation and application experience
- Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) technical experience

Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
