PgP5 Plant is Bosch Group’s newest expansion in Malaysia a semiconductor test site in Batu Kawan Penang. The construction has begun in May 2021 and first series of production to commence in 2023. With the long-term forecasts for growth of semiconductor component quantities, coupled with the front-end production in Bosch’s Dresden facility in Germany, capacity expansion is required for the back-end production, which is the final testing phase of semiconductors and sensors. PgP5 will primarily focus on the final testing of components manufactured at Bosch Automotive Electronics’ fab in Dresden, Germany. The plant will also house R&D and training facilities.

Job DescriptionResponsible to perform routine ESD checks, monitor due dates, generate ESD check paperwork and maintain ESD database.Coordinate ESD check activities with internal and external parties.Establish 3rd party ESD check capability within plant.Responsible as the line/process quality for the Sensors and ASICs product. Window person for all related quality issue internally and externally, including incoming product quality issue and customer issue.Ensure the line is complied with all quality requirements.Responsible to key in report, generate quality notification in SAP such as Q-Info, Delivery Release and QM-View.Responsible as PgP5 Internal Auditor, including planning, execution, closing and effectiveness verification of audits focus on IATF 16949 and VDA 6.3.Clarifying questions and solving problems related to IQ-audit tool.Support any internal and external audits, including follow up and closing of related OPL.Responsible for the problem-solving coordination and moderation for the quality issue internally and externally as Problem Solving Expert.Responsible as the SPC coordinator for the Sensors and ASICs line.Support department 6S activity.Support change management 4M checklist verification.Support lessons learned activity. Sharing input to the lesson learned plant coordinator. Support MSA study, including review of MSA study reported by MST team.Support Daily Leadership Meeting for any quality issue regarding Sensors and ASICs line.Responsible for return materials to supplier, including the improvement of the return process.Execute any other related duties assigned by supervisor from time to time.

QualificationsMinimum Bachelors Science or Engineering (Mechanical/Electrical/Electronic) or equivalent, preferably in Semiconductor.Minimum of 3+ years of professional experience in a related technical or quality assurance role.Prefer candidate with VDA6.3 Process Auditor Certification and/or IATF16949 Auditor Certification.
