**Description:** You will be the Quality Engineer for the Lockheed Martin Missiles and Fire Control \(LMMFC\) team\. Our team is responsible for designing, developing, and manufacturing precision engagement aerospace and defense systems, ensuring the highest level of quality for our customers\.
**What You Will Be Doing**
As the Quality Engineer, you will be responsible for developing and reviewing quality standards, methods, and procedures to ensure the delivery of high\-quality products\. You will work closely with design and production teams to guarantee that our customers receive the best possible products\.
Your responsibilities will include:
\-Reviewing documentation related to internal and external manufacturing processes
\-Analyzing and resolving process issues
\-Leading program corrective action meetings and participating in Material Review Boards and Failure Review Boards
\-Performing assessments and audits to ensure compliance with specifications and standards
\-Interfacing with customers, suppliers, and program personnel on quality\-related issues
\-Utilizing lean initiatives to drive continuous improvement

MUST BE A U\.S\. CITIZEN \- This position is located at a facility that requires special access\. The selected candidate must be able to obtain a secret clearance\. A company\-sponsored interim secret is required to start\.
**Basic Qualifications:**
\-Bachelors degree from an accredited college in a STEM related field or higher
\-Strong written and oral communication skills\.
\-Ability to work independently and as a team player\.
\-Proficiency in relevant computer applications\.
\-This position requires the ability to obtain a secret clearance and must obtain an interim secret prior to start so therefore all candidates need to be US Citizens\.
**Desired Skills:**
\-Working knowledge of SAP\.
\-Working knowledge of GD&T, FMEAs, and Root Cause and Corrective Action processes\.
\-Experience in Six\-Sigma green belt techniques and statistical process control methods\.
\-Discrete and/or Micro\-electronics experience\.
\-J\-STD\-001/IPC\-A\-610 familiarization\.
\-ASQ CQE\.

**Ability to Work Remotely:** Onsite Full\-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility\.
**Work Schedules:** Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees\. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed\. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits\.
**Schedule for this Position:** 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
