Job Description

In this role you will be responsible for ensuring, coordinating and controlling all quality processes within the area of responsibility to meter internal/external requirements. Ensure continuous improvement relevant processes. Ensure activities in Clinton Plant for compliance to the IATF standards for quality, compliance to customer specific requirements & standards. Internal Disposition of Non-conforming product within are of responsibility. TUGB related customer complaints (ppm).

HOW YOU WILL MAKE AN IMPACT

Support the achievement of quality objectives according to internal and external customer expectationsSupport implementation of continuous improvement activities and training measures.Participate in local quality related projects.Ensure control-plan fulfillment throughout area of responsibility for Clinton Plant.Over-inspection of semi and/or assembly produced products according to control plans.Classify off-standard products and take primary decision on usage thereof.Take the necessary actions in case of non-conformities (inform relevant production personnel).Apply non-conformance procedure.Ensure plant compliance to IATF, legal, customer and internal requirements as required in his/her area of responsibility.Participate in internal and external audits and support the corrective actions following the audits.Ensure LPA audits performed and within area of responsibility.Complete inspection statistical control charts.Enter data into the electronic data collection system where applicable.Take the necessary actions in case of negative trends (inform relevant production personnel).Input of quality related data into shop-floor systems.Support analysis of quality relevant processes in caser of quality deviations, in cooperation with production and process.Support scrap reduction efforts& reduction in customer complaint.Support activities in structed problem solving activity.

Qualifications

WHAT YOU BRING TO THE ROLE

Bachelor’s degree in industrial engineering, Chemical Engineering or a related fieldAt least 2 years of related work experience in Manufacturing in a quality assurance environmentIATF 16949: 2016 (International Automotive Task Force) Supplier Auditor Certification.APQP, Process Flow, PFMEA, Control Plan, PPAP, MSA Variable-Gage R & R, Process Capability.Experience in working with international teams on quality topics and understanding foreign cultures.Comprehensive experience in rubber and plastic production manufacturing processes.Manufacturing related technologies, systems, infrastructure, standards, and processes.Products, systems, and technologies (functionalities and applications).Quality Management and standards (IATF, quality policies, systems, and processes).Quality Core Tools (APQP, SPC, Six Sigma, FMEA, QFD, 8D etc.)Statistical techniques (e.g., CPK, Pareto, MSA).Local language & culture (intercultural sensitivity).Problem solving and decision making tools and techniques.Lean production/CBS principles, methods, and tools (e.g., production management system).Communication techniques (incl presentation, change management, negotiation, and conflict resolution techniques).Legal authorization to work in the U.S. is required. THE ENVIRONMENT

This includes safety wear such as company issued/approved steel toe shoes, safety glasses, hearing protection, etc.  as needed in the required areas.  The job is within a non-climate-controlled environment where you will be exposed to temperature swings (hot/cold), forklift and pedestrian traffic, and noise.The role involves various physical tasks, including lifting and operating machinery, with comprehensive training provided.
