Our client, a leader in the aerospace industry, is seeking a Quality Engineer II to join their team. As a Quality Engineer II, you will be part of the quality assurance department supporting critical projects. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and excellent communication abilities which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Quality Engineer II
Location: Beltsville, MD
Pay Range: $48-$51/hr.

What's the Job?

Relieve the current quality team from day-to-day tasks to focus on urgent quality issues. Utilize deep AS9100 experience to ensure compliance with quality standards. Read and interpret complex engineering drawings with high proficiency. Create detailed First Article Inspection reports (FAIRs) to validate production processes. Develop balloon drawings to create comprehensive inspection plans using Discus.

What's Needed?

Proven experience as a quality engineer with a strong background in AS9100. High-level ability to read and interpret engineering drawings. Experience in creating First Article Inspection reports (FAIRs). Ability to independently develop balloon drawings for inspection planning. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
