Description:You will be the Quality Engineer for the Precision Fires Business Process Engineering (BPE) group. Our team is focused on standardizing requirements, developing and maturing processes, conducting audits, and managing projects to accelerate progress and increase efficiency.
What You Will Be Doing
As the Quality Engineer, you will be responsible for applying quality engineering principles to drive process improvements, conducting audits, and collaborating with stakeholders to ensure compliance and efficiency. You will play a key role in developing and implementing quality processes to support our Precision Fires business.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Developing and implementing quality processes to support business objectives
- Conducting audits to ensure compliance and identify areas for improvement
- Collaborating with stakeholders to drive process improvements and efficiency
- Analyzing data to identify trends and areas for improvement
- Supporting project management efforts to accelerate progress and increase efficiency

MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN - This position is located at a facility that requires special access. The selected candidate must be able to obtain a secret clearance. A company-sponsored interim secret is required to start.
Basic Qualifications:
STEM degree at Bachelor's level or higher
2+ years of professional experience.
Must have the ability to obtain a secret clearance; candidate must be a U.S. citizen.
Proficient skill level with Microsoft Office applications: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.
Effective strong communication skills, written, oral, listening, technical writing.
Effective interpersonal skills, including team building and collaboration.
Ability to travel 25% of the time.
Desired Skills:
AS1900 interpretation and application experience
Demonstrated understanding of audit techniques
Demonstrated ability to use analysis tools to perform Root Cause and Corrective Action
In depth knowledge and experience in Quality processes and procedures
Familiarity and knowledge of Quality systems such Aerospace (AS) and International (ISO)
Experience working with government customers and suppliers
Supplier Quality Experience
Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.
Clearance Level: Secret

Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
