Job Summary:

• Develop and update Process Flow Diagrams (PFDs) that align with actual and planned production processes for aerospace electrical/electronic components.

• Lead PFMEA reviews with cross-functional teams to identify potential failure modes and ensure robust preventive actions are in place.

• Establish and maintain Control Plans to meet customer and regulatory requirements, ensuring they are aligned with PFMEAs and PFDs.

• Conduct and document Manufacturing Process Reviews (MPRs); verify process readiness and quality control for new or modified products.

• Ensure all quality documentation supports AS9100D customer-specific aerospace standards.

• Maintain thorough records and traceability as per aerospace regulatory and customer expectations.

• First article inspection as per the AS9102C

• PPAP elements to be completed as per the quality plan

 



Work Experience

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Electronics, Mechanical, or Industrial Engineering.

• 5+ years of quality engineering experience in the aerospace or defense industry (preferably with electrical or electronic products).

• Proven ability to develop and manage PFDs, PFMEA, Control Plans, and MPRs independently.

• Strong understanding of AS9100D, ISO 9001, and aerospace quality system requirements.

• Familiarity with APQP, PPAP, SPC, and MSA tailored to the aerospace sector.

• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.

• Proficiency in MS Office and quality software (e.g., IQ-FMEA, Minitab, SAP/QAD).
