**Quality Engineer Coordinator – [Alajuela, Costa Rica.]** Join Philips as a Process Quality Engineer, where you’ll play a key role in driving manufacturing excellence, quality compliance, and continuous improvement within our factories. This role blends technical expertise with problem-solving, giving you opportunities to grow while making an impact across operations. **Your role:** + Partner with manufacturing teams to ensure processes meet high-quality standards and regulatory requirements. + Lead change management activities, operational performance monitoring, and defect analysis to support strong business outcomes. + Investigate and resolve non-conformances, implementing effective Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPA). + Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to advise on quality engineering practices and drive continuous improvement. + Develop professionally through exposure to diverse projects, technical problem-solving, and opportunities to influence manufacturing outcomes. **You're the right fit if:** + You’ve acquired 3+ years of experience in the medical device, biologics, or pharmaceutical industry with a Bachelor’s degree in Quality Engineering, Safety Engineering, Process Engineering, or a related field. + Your skills include process quality management, root cause analysis, CAPA methodologies, manufacturing processes, and regulatory compliance. + You have a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Science, or an equivalent discipline. + You’re an analytical problem-solver and effective communicator who thrives in cross-functional environments and is motivated to drive continuous improvement. + You must be able to successfully perform the following minimum Physical, Cognitive and Environmental job requirements with or without accommodation for this position. **How we work together** We believe that we are better together than apart.
