Quality Engineer
About our client & their needs Our client is an established international player in the automotive manufacturing sector, operating production facilities in Romania and abroad. With a strong commitment to quality excellence, they work under the IATF 16949:2016 Quality Management System and a continuous improvement culture built around Lean Manufacturing, Zero Defect principles, and structured problem-solving. They are looking for an experienced Quality Engineer to take ownership of quality control and assurance systems across the plant — from incoming materials through to finished product release. This is a hands-on, high-visibility position with direct impact on product quality and customer satisfaction across two plant locations. Working Hours: 8 hours/day | Workplace: Turda (CJ), Romania

Maintain the primary interface with customers regarding complaints, deviations, and special reports. Oversee Quality personnel across both plants to ensure compliance and final product release. Coordinate with Purchasing to analyze and improve supplier performance. Establish and monitor certification programs. Lead root cause analysis and manage 8D reports for quality-related issues. Engage in Lean Manufacturing, 5S, Standard Work, Muda elimination, and Zero Defect workshops. Participate in Go & See activities to validate process flow vs. real operations, machine behavior, and tooling conditions. Support the installation of Poka-Yoke systems, sensor upgrades, and alarm logic validation. Verify RPN reduction through process capability improvements and SPC implementation. Train and coach operators and team leaders on PFMEA risks and prevention-vs-detection thinking.
