Title: Quality Engineer Location: Orangeburg, NY area Start Date: ASAP! Duration: 6 Month Contract (runs through at least the end of July) Hours: Mon-Fri; 8 hour days (5 days a week in office) *flexible start time anywhere between 7am-9am Rate: $38-$43/hr Education: - BS Degree in engineering or science Experience: - 3-5 years industry exp. ideally in Med Device but open to Pharma, diagnostics, or clinical laboratory “MUST HAVES”: - Process Validation exp. - Verification and specification changes exp. - MSA exp. - SAP exp. - Minitab exp. - CAPA exp. “Nice to Haves”: - Statistical skills is a plus Duties/Responsibilities: - Ensures product quality meets requirements and documentation is complete prior to approval Participates on core teams supporting new product development or design changes - Participates in the generation and review of quality documents throughout the product lifecycle Advises, in coordination with management, regarding compliance to procedures, standards and regulations - On new product development and or product performance investigations, provides guidance on tools and techniques available - Works with manufacturing, R&D, Service, Sales & Marketing, and others outside the company (as needed) to recommend or prepare corrective/preventive actions (CAPA) - Reviews and approves change orders for product performance, process changes, labeling and marketing communications as required Ref: #558-Scientific System One, and its subsidiaries including Joulé, ALTA IT Services, CM Access, TPGS, and MOUNTAIN, LTD., are leaders in delivering workforce solutions and integrated services across North America.
