How will you make an impact? 

 

We are looking for a Quality Engineer to join our team in Joensuu.

Your responsibility is to ensure that our product quality requirements are met, and we listen to and learn from our customer feedback. You will develop our quality production capabilities and quality processes, both in terms of production and supplier quality. As part of this role you also will perform audits to ensure compliance with standards and regulations.

What will you do?  

 

Technical quality of products. Ensure that products meet technical quality requirements and standards. Analyze product performance and identify areas for improvement. Processing customer feedback. Receive and analyze customer feedback. Develop and implement corrective actions based on customer feedback and communicate with customers. Supplier Quality. Assess and monitor supplier quality performance in collaboration with procurement. Conduct supplier audits and quality inspections. New product projects. Participate in new product development projects from a quality management perspective. Plan and implement quality assurance processes for new products. Change management. Manage and document changes to products and production processes. Assess the impact of changes on quality and ensure their proper implementation. Compliance with ISO 17025 and ISO 8655 standards. Supports the Technical Expert at the Joensuu plant in the implementation of the standards' requirements. 

 

How will you get here?  

 

Bachelor's degree (e.g. technology, science) or experience of similar work. Work experience from similar Quality roles within industrial or manufacturing environments. Knowledge of quality assurance tools and methods (e.g. FMEA, Control plan, root cause analysis). Excellent ability to communicate, write documents and describe processes in Finnish and English. Proactive way to work, good problem solving skills and ability to use IT tools and software. ​Additionally, experience in internal and supplier audits as well as knowledge of ISO standards are considered an advantage.
