You’ll get to: + Support the Plant Manager regarding the execution of the Quality Strategy around the Mission, Vision & Strategic Initiatives related to the manufacturing process improvement within the plant. + Improve process capability by leveraging the Plan Do Check Act (PDCA) and Continuous Improvement methodology. + Create/improve Standard Operating Procedures and deliver training to the operators regarding new improved standard work. + Partner with all business functions to identify and eliminate any roadblock through working creatively within the team. + Address any process failure through formal Root Cause Analysis and Corrective Action Process. + Engage in customer audits, complaints and problem-solving issues. + May oversee, mentor, and train junior quality techs on policies and procedures. + Review top issues for scrap and rework, initiate actions to reduce or eliminate these issues. + Oversee New Product Launches and fulfill all Quality deliverables in the product launch cycle. + Maintain and improve quality systems to maintain ISO9001 certification. + Support corporate quality initiatives as defined by the Regional Quality Director. _This role is not eligible for visa sponsorship (H1B, OPT/CPT, TN_ _etc_ _)._ **The Person:** You love to learn and grow and be acknowledged for your valuable contributions.
