Summary: Seeking a Quality Engineer with expertise in Cummins or International experience to support quality management and control processes.
Requirements:
Experience working with Cummins and/or International Familiarity with IATF 16949 standards Proficiency in using inspection equipment such as micrometers, calipers, height gages, dial indicators, gage blocks, and optical comparatorsPreferred Skills:
Knowledge of Control Plans, PFMEA, and Process FlowsResponsibilities:
Perform auditor and quality control analyst tasks Coordinate inspection techniques with vendor and customer quality departments Resolve vendor problems through Vendor 8D notifications Address customer and supplier complaints via Quality Alert forms Verify accuracy of prints, process sheets, and inspection documents Develop Control Plan, PFMEA, and Process Flows in Plex Train inspectors on Control Plan checks and use of gages Program and operate CMM; train others on machine use Conduct gage R&R studies; manage calibration requirementsPay Details: $80,000.00 to $90,000.00 per year
