We are seeking a dedicated Quality Engineer with medical device experience to ensure that products, processes, and systems meet established quality standards. This role involves developing, implementing, and maintaining quality assurance protocols to support the production of medical devices. The Quality Engineer collaborates with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve quality issues, drives continuous improvements, and ensures compliance with industry standards and regulations.
ResponsibilitiesDevelop, implement, and monitor quality control systems to ensure products meet specifications and standards.Analyze production processes to identify areas for improvement, reduce defects, and enhance efficiency.Design and execute testing procedures to evaluate product performance, reliability, and safety.Conduct root cause analysis for defects and non-conformities.Maintain detailed records of quality tests, inspections, and compliance activities.Work closely with engineering, manufacturing, and supply chain teams to integrate quality standards into product design and production processes.Provide training and guidance to manufacturing teams on quality standards and procedures.Lead investigations into quality issues, implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA), and track their effectiveness.Evaluate and monitor supplier performance to ensure raw materials and components meet quality requirements.
Essential SkillsExperience in quality engineering, particularly in the medical device sector.Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or a related field.Two to five years of experience in quality engineering or a related role.Strong verbal and written communication abilities.Proficiency in statistical analysis and quality tools.Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.Familiarity with industry-specific standards and regulations.

Work Environment
The position requires working onsite five days a week during core hours. The work environment is small, collaborative, and allows for casual attire.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $40.00 - $65.00/hr.
