Join our dynamic 787 Quality Core Team in North Charleston, South Carolina, as an Experienced/Senior Quality Engineer. This is an opportunity to be part of a passionate team dedicated to excellence in aerospace engineering. We are seeking highly motivated and technically oriented engineers who have experience working in a heavily regulated industry and possess an unwavering commitment to quality and compliance.

As a Core Quality Engineer, you will ensure the Boeing Company's Quality Management System requirements are met by developing, implementing, and supporting efficient and effective quality methods, tools and processes. Through technical mentorship and cross-training, you will enhance the skillset of our other Quality Engineering teams.

To thrive as a Quality Engineer at Boeing, you should be able to:

Analyze complex engineering documentation

Conduct thorough audits

Implement effective corrective actions

Collaborate across functions

Position Responsibilities:

Analyze engineering documentation to determine process capability and conformance

Perform audits of critical safety statement of work for engineering, build plan, and conformance planning improvements

Review and improve current build plan for simplification and standardization

Perform continuous improvement of Quality Engineering processes

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited course of study in engineering, engineering technology (includes manufacturing engineering technology), chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science

5+ years experience in Aerospace, Manufacturing, Quality, or another regulated industry

5+ years experience reviewing and authoring technical documentation

5+ years experience applying Root Cause Corrective Action (RCCA) or other similar rigorous problem/analysis/resolution processes

5+ years experience managing projects with cross-functional stakeholders and teammates

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

ABET accredited engineering degree

Experience working in a Quality Engineering or other production engineering job role

Experience working with AS9100 and/or similar QMS standard

Experience with analytics tools & software

Proactive and collaborative mindset with an emphasis on positive relationships

Excellent communication and presentation skills, both verbal and written

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations. 

Summary pay range, associate (level 2): $73,100 – $98,900

Summary pay range, experienced (level 3): $88,400 - $119,600
