Job Title: Quality EngineerJob Description Join a dynamic team as a Quality Engineer where you will play a pivotal role in supporting activities related to nonconformance, preventative and corrective action systems. You will generate CAR requests, facilitate improvement plans, verify closures, and conduct periodic reviews to ensure the highest quality standards are met. Your expertise will be crucial in supporting both new and existing products related to manufacturing quality assurance, test analysis, improvement tools, product control plans, inspection procedures, and other quality documentation. Responsibilities + Process FMEA's and support APQP. + Lead and support root cause investigation and corrective action of production quality issues. + Support internal audits and create quality control plans aligning with customer, product, regulatory, and sector requirements. + Review production and manufacturing specification processes to ensure conformance to drawings, specifications, and contract requirements. + Assist with establishing quality controls over all production processes and testing during the product cycle. + Analyze reported defects and failures, review discrepancies, and approve dispositions and corrective actions. + Prepare reports and corrective action documentation. Essential Skills + Proficiency in root cause analysis and CAPA. + Knowledge of audit processes and quality control. + Experience with AS9100 and quality assurance standards. + Ability to conduct first article inspections and process flow analysis. + Expertise in corrective action plans and supplier quality management. Additional Skills & Qualifications + Familiarity with regulated requirements such as ISO or AS9100. + Experience in supporting quality within the manufacturing industry. + Exposure to FMEA, APQP, FAI, and corrective action processes. + Experience with internal audits is advantageous. + Competence in supporting process flow charts and quality control plans. Work Environment This role is primarily onsite, with 75% of the time spent at a desk and 25% out on the shop floor. The company boasts a newly refurbished, bright, and open facility. The quality team consists of 24 members, including managers, engineers, technicians, and inspectors.
